WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO TO GRADUATE?
The first thing to do in order to apply for a degree is to choose a supervisor from among the Professors of the Department, whose teaching is present in your study plan.
Once you have contacted the chosen teacher and agreed on the title on which you can work, you must fill in, via the Esse3 web platform (personal page), in the "Menu"/Title Achievement section, the Thesis Process (formerly thesis assignment) (as per the tutorial).
The supervisor will approve the thesis process and only then will it be possible to proceed with the drafting work.
Students who have already deposited the paper form in the previous months at the teaching office must still carry out this procedure online so as to be able to subsequently proceed with entering the degree application (online). The paper assignment, duly deposited at the teaching secretariat, must be uploaded within the thesis process.
The validity date of the paper assignment deposited in the teaching office will remain confirmed even if the request is made online.
For single-cycle Master's Degrees and the old (four-year) Law degree, the submission of the assignment is expected at least 4 months before the start of the degree session.
For three-year degrees, the deposit is expected at least 3 months before the start of the graduation session.

HOW DO I SUBMIT THE DEGREE APPLICATION?
The graduation application must be submitted on the following dates, based on the session:
- Summer Session: 15 - 22 JUNE (session scheduled for July)
- Autumn Session: 10 - 20 SEPTEMBER (session scheduled for October)
- First Extraordinary Session: 15 - 22 JANUARY (session scheduled for February/March)
- Second Extraordinary Session: 01 - 10 MARCH (meeting scheduled for April)
You will have to connect to the Esse3 web platform (personal page), in the "Menu" - "Achievement of Qualification" section (as per the tutorial) and proceed to fill out the qualification application (formerly a degree application).
At the end of the compilation process the following will be generated:
- degree parchment release fee €49.00 to be paid through the PagoPA system.
