Degree awards

The Department of Law of the University of Foggia, thanks to the contribution of the Fatigato family, establishes an annual graduation prize in memory of the lawyer Pasquale Fatigato intended for graduates who have defended their thesis at the University of Foggia.

Biographical Profile
The lawyer Pasquale Fatigato (14 September 1947 - 6 March 2023) obtained a degree in Law from the La Sapienza University of Rome in 1976, discussing a thesis in Labor Law concerning the repression of anti-union conduct (art. 28 St . lav.), speaker Prof. Renato Scognamiglio.
Qualified as a lawyer since 1980, registered with the Foggia Bar Association, he has carried out his professional activity since 1977 in his own firm, exclusively in the fields of Labor Law, Trade Union Law and Social Security, carrying out consultancy activities for primary business groups, employers' organisations, companies owned by public bodies, as well as for public economic bodies.
Furthermore, since the moment of his legal qualification, he has carried out legal aid activities in disputes relating to Labor Law, Trade Union Law and Social Security, before the Tribunals and Courts of Appeal throughout Italy and the Court of Cassation, being qualified to advocacy before the Higher Magistrates, in many cases defending numerous workers pro bono through local trade union associations.
